Nocciola is Italian for “hazelnut,” and this rich, flavorful nut is the main flavoring in this excellent seafood entrée. You could try the same coating with other firm fish suitable for grilling, such as snapper. The trick is to use gentle heat so the fish cooks through without scorching the nuts.

Hazelnut Breading

⅔ cup (about 3 ounces) hazelnuts

1⁄2 cup Mama’s Seasoned Breadcrumbs or Italian-style dried breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
